Is there anything we can do about these %^@&#*$ mosquitos?!

After cursing out the 10th mosquito bite we got in less than five minutes of being outside we were desperate for relief. Thankfully, Brandt, the owner of Bug Commander, is no stranger to finding a solution!

We started out as Rohman Mosquito & Tick and after a few years of taking on mosquitos, ticks, and other outdoor pests that transmit diseases, we became Bug Commander Pest Solutions, a fully structural pest control company.

Here at Bug Commander we pride ourselves on quality and customer service that feels like your neighbor is lending you a hand. We strive to keep our prices fair while using the best products, equipment, and application techniques available with professional service so you can enjoy the outdoors when the weather is nice and the indoors when it’s not!

We call ourselves a Pest Control Practice as we are always eager to learn new techniques and use updated products to get better control. Bug Commander is fully insured, and all our technicians are Licensed Commercial Pesticide Applicators that carry certificates given by the Minnesota Department of Agriculture.

Protecting our pollinators

Birds, bats, bees, butterflies, beetles, and other small mammals that pollinate plants are responsible for bringing us one out of every three bites of food. They also sustain our ecosystems and produce our natural resources by helping plants reproduce. This nearly invisible ecosystem service is a precious resource that requires attention and support. Here at Bug Commander, we take our pollinators seriously by avoiding unnecessary treatments that directly affect pollination. We have multiple customers with honeybee hives near the vicinity of our outdoor treatments. By being cautious of where the hives are and what we are treating, we have had great success with those hives producing year after year!

Integrated Pest Management (IPM)

IPM is an ecosystem-based strategy that focuses on long-term prevention of pests or their damage through a combination of techniques such as biological control, habitat manipulation, modification of cultural practices, and use of resistant varieties. Pesticides are used only after monitoring indicates they are needed according to established guidelines, and treatments are made with the goal of removing only the target organism. Pest control materials are selected and applied in a manner that minimizes risks to human health, beneficial and nontarget organisms, and the environment.

Bug Commander follows the IPM guideline to help serve you better and reduce the risk of non-target kills and non-needed treatments. What this mean for you is a better control of the pest(s).

If we can take care of the problem without a chemical treatment, we will, and if we feel a treatment or our services are not needed to control the pest(s) we inform you, which in return saves you money and time!
